Q: Will the event take place if it snows?
In 2008, the event was cancelled on the morning of the event because of snow and ice. If it snows this year, the City of Kirkland police will review the course routes on the morning of the event (or earlier) and decide on if the event should take place or not. If it is cancelled, we will (1) post an update on the www.src12ksofchristmas.com site and on the 12K’s of Christmas facebook page. Be sure to check both sites.
